What is Reiki?
Reiki is the art of accelerated natural healing.
The human body is an electrical system designed to heal itself. The Reiki Practitioner acts as an energetic "charge" to stimulate the energy flow with a gentle touch. The resulting deep relaxation brings calmness, releases tension, clears blockages, and reduces discomfort.Natural healing energy will flow.
Reiki emerged in Japan in the late 1800s under respected founder Mikao Usui. Noninvasive and nonreligious, Reiki has no known side effects. Therapies trusted in international cultures for generations are becoming more mainstream in the United States. Reiki is now studied at leading universities and recognized in over 800 hospitals as a complement to conventional medicine.

What is a Reiki session?
A Reiki session is given in a relaxed setting.
The client is fully clothed and reclining on the Reiki table. Gentle touching is applied to the front and back of the body. The session lasts an hour and a half, including an interview with the practitioner, and a closing conversation.

What is a remote Reiki session?
Energy knows no boundary.
Remote or distance Reiki may be given at any time, anywhere, or any distance from the practitioner. Science refers to this medium as "quantum entanglement." Communication is by phone or online. The heightened concentration of the remote session is quite powerful. This session lasts one hour.
